The Ministry through its Legal Aid Directorate offer legal services to indigents in the country. However, indigents may be asked to contribute a small fee to the legal aid fund.
All persons placed on community service are supervised by heads of institutions. Eg Heads of Schools, Sister in charge at clinics etc. Community service officers oversee the supervision process done by heads of institutions by making a follow up at institutions of placement.
Legal Aid offices are accessible in all of the country's provinces with some offices in districts such as Chivhu, Chipinge, Chiredzi.
